A television journey through the world's great spaces

By putting people at the heart of the design process, governments, developers, architects, and engineers are improving urban spaces and the lives of people using them.

This idea is called Placemaking and now great spaces will be celebrated, understood, and enjoyed in a new television series called The Placemakers.

In each episode, you’ll meet passionate people using new and sustainable ideas to tackle challenges such as climate change, population density, productivity and community engagement in our world… A place where 68% of people will be living in urban environments by 2050.

The Placemakers has been on air for the past 3 years on Network 10 in Australia and from 2022, will run across Asia Pacific in partnership with Discovery Networks and across the world via Encore In-flight Entertainment.

We aim to provide a global media forum for great Placemakers to showcase your best work and to drive infrastructure investment, tenants and traffic to new precincts.

The Placemakers is published by igloo media and is a registered trademark in Australia, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, United Kingdom, United States and worldwide (WIPO)
