Central Park: Sydney

Central Park is one of Australia’s leading urban renewal projects and is located on the outskirts of the Sydney CBD in Chippendale.
Here an old brewery and surrounds have been re-imagined and redeveloped into world class sustainable precinct featuring a new public park, a residential tower boasting one of Asia Pacific’s tallest vertical gardens and a unique heliostat design that provides light to parklands below.
One Central Park East tower was ranked as one of the best skyscrapers in the world by Emporis in 2014. It was also chosen as the best tall building in Asia and Australia by Chicago based CTBUH in the same year.
The project was developed by Frasers Property Group. The residential tower was designed by Jean Nouvel and the vertical garden walls were designed by Patrick Blanc and green facades by ASPECT | OCULUS
Residential buildings adjacent new parkland called Park Lane and The Mark were designed by Johnson Pilton Walker and London architects Foster + Partners designed the + 75,000 square meter office and retail space known as Central Park Mall
